Biographical history

The Searletown Womens Institute was organized in Prince Edward Island on the 25 November 1921. At the same meeting it was named the Willing Workers Institute. Eventually it merged with the North Carleton Womens Institute.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of the minutes of the Searletown Womens Institute from 1921 to 1946. Minutes also include attendance records lists of officers and memberships and financial statements as well as accounts of the war work done for the Red Cross.
