This series consists of the records of Lucy (Palmer) and George L. Haslam. The series includes diaries belonging to Lucy (1884-1907, 1912-1943), an exercise book and teacher’s register for Fanning School, Malpeque, where Lucy was a teacher, as well as personal papers, correspondence, household accounts, and an “In Memoriam” book for Lucy. The series also includes a draft article entitled “Lucy of Ozendyke” by Michael Bliss (1992). In addition, the series also contains personal papers belonging to George L. Haslam, as well as cards and letters of sympathy addressed to the family following his death.
