Biographical history

James Stewart Walker was born in 1869 in West Covehead, the son of David and Annie (Gordon) Walker. He became a police officer in Charlottetown. On 9 November 1903 he married Mae Roberts. They had three sons and two daughters. Dulcinea, the oldest daughter, was the Island champion Highland dancer in 1922.
