Biographical history
Organized as the Maple Leaf Women's Institute on 30 September 1925, the Institute which included the communities of High Bank and Little Sands, Prince Edward Island, changed its name to Ocean View within two months. By the late 1950's it was known simply as the High Bank/Little Sands Women's Institute.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of minutes of the High Bank/Little Sands Women's Institute from Sept. 1925 - January 1935 and from November 1959 - August 1971. The Institute closed shortly after this date. Volumes include roll call, lists of officers, annual reports and financial information.
