This series is comprised of material documenting the meetings and activities of the Council of Maritime Premiers. The Council was formed in 1971 to provide a legal framework of co-operation among the maritime provinces through the creation of regional organizations, the harmonization of provincial policies and programs, and the adoption of common positions on matters involving other parties such as the federal government. The documents in this series have been organized into four sub-series: CMP Meetings: Agenda and Briefing Books; Federal-Provincial Conferences; Reports and Reference Materials; and Maritime Provinces Higher Education Reports.
