This series consists of files of various documents involving the settlement of bankruptcy estates for which F. J. E. Wright was trustee between 1921 and 1947. One file, dated 1948, contains papers for a case Wright was appointed trustee for before his death but which was not settled until the following year. The years assigned to these cases correspond with those of the official Bankruptcy records of the Supreme Court (R. G. 6.1: Supreme Court fonds, Series 24: Bankruptcy records). Documents included in these files are: bankruptcy forms; income tax forms; lists of individuals owing money to the estate; cheque books; deposit books; receipt books; correspondence regarding the estate; bills; lists of creditors; inventory of possessions; notice of auction sale; proof of debt forms; and invoices. Volume 28: Miscellaneous includes ledger pages recording payment received from various parties involved in bankruptcy cases. Entries are arranged by the name of the individual who claimed bankruptcy. The files are arranged chronologically and alphabetically.
