Environment, Labour and Justice
Minimum wage in Prince Edward Island will increase to $10.50 per hour effective July 1, 2015, says Minister of Environment, Labour and Justice and Attorney General Janice Sherry.
“Executive Council has approved the Employment Standards Board’s recommendation to increase minimum wage by 15 cents next summer,” said Minister Sherry.
The current minimum wage for Prince Edward Island is $10.35 per hour, that rate came into effect on October 1. Minimum wage across Canada ranges from $10.00 in New Brunswick and the Northwest Territories to $11.00 in Ontario and Nunavut.
