Construction Commences in Brackley
Communities, Cultural Affairs and Labour
“This new development will encourage active transportation, such as walking and cycling, and increase safety along the busy Brackley Point Road,” said Minister Bertram. “Residents will now be able to safely walk to the Brackley Commons recreation area, as well as the access point of the Confederation Trail.”
The project consists of installing a shoulder along with east side of the Brackley Point Road, commencing at the access point of the Confederation Trail. It will continue for approximate 2.6 kilometers, to the intersection of the Charlottetown Perimeter Highway.
“The Province is pleased to support this project,” said Minister Bertram. “On behalf of the Government and local MLA, Robert Vessey, I want to publicly thank the Brackley Community Council for all their hard work and dedication to this project; they have done a wonderful job.”
