Services at Community Hospital O’Leary Urgent Care Centre Unavailable for One Day Only

Health

The public is advised that the Urgent Care Centre at Community Hospital O’Leary will be closed for one day only on Thursday, May 14, 2009.

The closure is due to temporary difficulties in securing physician coverage. Regular hours of service will resume on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 8 a.m.

Emergency services in West Prince are not impacted by this closure. For medical emergencies, the public should call 911 or seek emergency services through the Western Hospital in Alberton or the Prince County Hospital in Summerside as they have done over the last six months. Non-urgent needs can be addressed at Community Hospital O’Leary Urgent Care Centre on Friday.

The Department of Health and physicians and staff of Community Hospital O’Leary are committed to providing quality health care to the residents of West Prince and regret any inconvenience this one day closure may cause.
