"The Justice Institute plays an important role in the training of law enforcement officers in this region," said Minister Deighan. "In order to provide the very best training possible, we must have the very best facility we can."

The enhancements will include improvements to the accommodations and to the food service areas. Work will begin this year. Holland College also plans improvements which will allow it to provide more modern justice training.

Funding will be provided through the Department of Development and Technology. More specific plans for the Justice Institute will be released shortly.
