Changes to Cabinet announced

Premier's Office

Premier Wade MacLauchlan today announced changes to Cabinet to provide leadership on government’s efforts to build a more prosperous, caring and engaged province.

    The following members were sworn-in this morning during a ceremony at Government House:

  • Honourable Doug W. Currie, Minister of Education, Early Learning and Culture
  • Honourable Robert L. Henderson, Minister of Health and Wellness
  • Honourable Tina M. Mundy, Minister of Family and Human Services

“Our government has set a robust agenda for 2016 and the next three years, focused on building the economy and putting in place the best supports for Islanders to thrive,” said the Premier. “We are committed to engaging Islanders in shaping our future path and I am confident that the changes announced today provide the senior leadership necessary to achieve this important work.”

The three Ministers will work closely with their Cabinet colleagues to fulfill government’s priorities of People, Prosperity and Engagement as reflected in the ministerial mandate letters www.gov.pe.ca/premier/mandate-letters.

  • Honourable Richard E. Brown, Minister of Workforce and Advanced Learning
