Murray Harbour North (Sett.) was adopted 25 April 1946 on 11L/2. Confirmed 7 July 1949 on c. 4420.Applicaion altered 21 November 1966 on 11L/2 from 46 03 - 62 29 to 46 03 - 62 30 to include the area formerly known as Murrary Harbour West.Status changed to Locality 23 October 1989 on 203-8. Probably named in association with the other "Murray" features and places in the area.See PN of PEI, 1925.
