Historique
During the Church Union movement in the mid 1920s the part of the Presbyterian congregation in Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island became part of the United Church of Canada. Along with Bideford, Conway and Lot 14 it formed the Bideford Pastoral Charge. At an organizing meeting on 23 November 1925, the congregation decided to call the Church the United Church of Tyne Valley and elected a Board of Managers. The Church itself, which was purchased from the Baptist Church in 1925 and renovated had been built in the early 1900s. Further extensive renovations were undertaken in 1983.
