The subseries consists of eleven scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to the Charlottetown Festival, a summer theatre specializing in musical productions which operated in the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The clippings are from newspapers across Canada and appear to have been the result of a subscription by the Confederation Centre to Bowden’s and other clipping services. Most of the clippings concern festival productions but some are of a more general nature regarding the Centre and its other functions. Most scrapbooks also contain envelopes of loose clippings.
