Scope and content
The order books were maintained by the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly and record the subject to be introduced in the Legislature and the members name. The subjects are numbered consecutively for each session of the Legislature. Order books are handwritten until 1907 when typed copies of the orders appear pasted into the volumes.
