History
Moore & McLeod was located on Queen Street in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, for close to nine decades. Succeeding the firm of Perkins and Sterns at this location in the 1890's, Messrs. G. M. Moore, S. A. McLeod, W. A. Stewart and G. P. Gordon established a thriving dry goods and wall paper wholesale and retail business. As well as fabric and linens, the store carried men's and women's fashions, millinery goods, and furs.
