Biographical history
Jack McLean, a resident of Victoria, Australia, is a railway enthusiast and historian. In the pursuit of this interest he has collected considerable memorabilia including a large number of Prince Edward Island Railway and Canadian National Railways timetables. He is currently working on a PEI passenger train project which will incorporate the PEI sections of the timetables, with corresponding graphs, into a connecting narrative.

Scope and content
The collection consists of copies of the PEI portions of Canadian National Railway timetables from 1919, 1928, 1960, and 1985 as well as a brief history of Canadian National Railways, a synopsis of events on the Prince Edward Island Railway, 1871-1989, and a listing of timetables in Mr. McLean's collection which include a portion for Prince Edward Island.
