Bea Mair, a local historian and collector, was a resident of Georgetown, Prince Edward Island in 1978.

Scope and content

This fonds consists of textual documents and photographs relating to the history of Georgetown, Prince Edward Island and its principal industry of shipbuilding. The twelve photographs depict area ships, shipyards, and some individuals involved in the area's shipping industry. Two of the vessels included were built at Cardigan. All places and ships are clearly identified as are some of the people.
