Historique
The Clerical Association of P.E.I. was an organization formed in Crapaud, Prince Edward Island, in 1887 to provide all licensed Anglican clergy with the opportunity to meet regularly to pray, interact socially, and plan for the general interests of the Church in Prince Edward Island. Rev. T.W. Johnstone served as the first President. Meetings were held five times per year in various communities around the Island. The final meeting of the organization was held in St. Paul's schoolroom in Charlottetown in 1909. It was decided at that time that the Clerical Association had "completed its term of usefulness" and that a Rural Deanery would take its place.
