Biographical history
B. Frank Tinney was born in February 1893 in Quincy, Massachusetts. He attended school in Glen Valley, Prince Edward Island. An agrologist with the Department of Agriculture in Charlottetown, he also maintained an interest in woodworking, photography and Island history.

The collection contains an account book of the PEI Historical Society, a program of the death service for Queen Victoria held in the First Methodist Church in Charlottetown, a schedule of the visit of Governor- General and Lady Alexander to Charlottetown in 1946 as well as 6 post-cards. The latter are primarily of railway cuttings in the snow in 1905 but also contain one of the ferry "Northumberland" and one of Islanders enlisted in the artillery for World War I.
