First Annual P.E.I. Fox Show, Charlottetown, ca. October 1929
 
The first annual fox show was held from October 29 to November 1, 1929. Close to 500 foxes were entered. Exhibitors could enter a maximum of 30 foxes with no more than two in each section. There was a $5.00 fee per fox and only those registered with the Canadian National Record or American National Live Stock Records were eligible to participate. Each exhibitor had to join the Silver Fox Exhibitors' Association. A cash award of $5.00 was awarded within each class along with ribbons and trophies.
