Original Charlottetown Camera Club 1967 description:
"Excerpt from Jacques Cartier's Diary
'1er Juillet, 1534: Tout ycelle terre est basse et onyr, la plus belle qui soit possible de voir et plaine de beaux arbres et praires.'
'1st July, 1534: All the said land is low and plaine and fairest that may possibly be seen, full of goodly meadows and trees.'
