Craswell took thousands of formal individual, family and group portraits during his many years as a commercial photographer. Several Governors General and many members of visiting royalty were photographed by Craswell including the Duke and Duchess of Connaught and their daughter, Princess Patricia; the Duke of Windsor in 1919; King George VI and Queen Elizabeth; and Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
