Original Charlottetown Camera Club 1967 description:
"Boy Scouts of Canada - P.E.I. One of the founders of Scouting on the province was Mr. Burnett of 'The Guardian.' The movement had been introduced previous to August, 1914, and in 1915, the first Island Scout Camp was held on the Exhibition grounds, Charlottetown. Col. D. A. MacKinnon, D.S.O. was the provincial commissioner in 1953. The movement covers the Island with about 2000 members in the scouting movement."
