Original Charlottetown Camera Club 1967 description:
"King George VI being greeted by Lieutenant Governor George D. DeBlois, Mrs. DeBlois, Premier Thane A. Campbell and Ms. Campbell. The rain did not dampen the spirits of Islanders that day. The summer of 1939 was a happy one for many boys, but for many of them, it would be their last."
