Original Charlottetown Camera Club 1967 description:
"In 1922 after the war, dresses were slimmer and shorter then before and with its huge destruction of young men, found the glorification of the boyish ideal. The waistline was lowered and the skirts were almost to the knee. The day costume preserved a neat, business-like, simplicity. Hair was worn close to the head and shingled."
