"The story of Owen Connolly is a story of unbridled success. This outstanding Irish immigrant to Prince Edward Island was a veritable leader among his people. He was an astute man of business and deeply interested in affairs of both Church and State. He operated one of the largest wholesale and retail stores in Charlottetown for many years.
