Original Charlottetown Camera Club 1967 description:
"Up and Over. Wallie Scantlebury clears the pole vault at 11 feet during the track and field meet at C.A.A. grounds in Charlottetown. Scantlebury was Maritime Champion in 1925 and 1926. His best effort was 11 feet. Note the vaulters cap is still on his head and the old rigid bamboo pole. This photo won a number of awards for 'action' photography."
