| This article recounts the recent opening of the library in O'Leary on Thursday, March 1st, 1934. Attending the grand opening was Nora Bateson – Director of the Carnegie Library Demonstration in Prince Edward Island. Mr. Nesry Shelfoon was appointed as the first librarian for O’Leary.
