Copy of letter from Rev. Arthur F. Baker to Nora Bateson, September 5th, 1933

Copy of the original letter send by Rev. Arthur F. Baker of O'Leary to Nora Bateson, Director of the Carnegie Library Demonstration for PEI. In this letter, Reverend Baker requests that Ms. Bateson consider O'Leary as a potential location for a new public library.

Before libraries were established within communities, a Committee of representatives from the local community was formed. The Committee was given the responsibility of locating suitable space and room for the library, while the Demonstration provided the books and materials.
