Library Booth, Provincial Exhibition, August 1933
 
In 1933, the Carnegie Corporation granted money to the Province of Prince Edward Island in order to establish a Library Demonstration. The purpose of the Demonstration was to create a library service that would serve Islanders across the province. In order to promote the Demonstration, a booth was erected at the 1933 Provincial Exhibition in Charlottetown.
