| August 23, 1860 "Went out to Judge Peters at Sidmount with camera and chemicals and took several views of house, goose boat, children and dined there, Miss Cunard staying there -- Returned in children's waggon in afternoon." Sidmount was the home of Judge James Horsfield Peters (1811-1891) and wife Mary (Cunard) and family. Their daughter Mary Caroline later married Helen's brother, Edward (Ned) Bayfield.
