Opera House/Prince Edward Island Theatre, 1894 |

Known variously as the Masonic Hall, the Opera House and later as the Prince Edward Theatre, this building, owned by the Masonic Order, was located on Grafton Street, near Queen. On May 24, 1892, the cornerstone was laid. The upper floors were used for the Masonic meetings. Fire destroyed the theatre in December 1955. | Next>>> | Previous<<< |
