Harry Warwick, circa 1910

Americans Harry and Elsa Warwick were long time summer residents at Bay Fortune. They were attracted to P.E.I. by the actors' colony established by C.P. Flockton at Abell's Cape. The Warwicks, Flockton and others staged some performances in Souris and Charlottetown. Involved in the American theatre circuit of New York and Boston, the Warwicks continued to summer and eventually live year round in eastern P.E.I. until the 1950s.
