| Description: | Attention: Blueberry / Cranberry Producers Individuals who wish to apply a HERBICIDE using a wiper, roller or brush or by making a spot treatment may now obtain a Class I Pesticide Applicator Certificate. A training session is offered by the Department of Agriculture & Fisheries. No exam is required, but you must attend this training session to receive a Weed/Wiping Certificate. Individuals not attending this training session must complete a written examination. The cost of the certificate if $75. Please bring your payment and driver’s license or photo ID. Please note that this training session is typically not intended for producers who have a full pesticide license, but is targeted for hired labour who will conduct weed wiping or spot spraying only as part of their duties.
