Event: Nutrition of Potato - YaraLiva Calcium Nitrate

Description: 

Yara is pleased to invite you to an educational meeting about the nutrition of potato crops in Canada. The main focus of this educational session will be the introduction of YaraLiva calcium nitrate products and discussion of how their benefits help produce a top quality crop.

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Parking passes provided, registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Event: The Soil Sessions
Date: Mar 15, 2017
Location: Holland College, Charlottetown
Description: 

Join us in the morning to examine and interpret a number of Cornell Soil Health Test results from local farms and hear from our own local farmers and experts how their managemetn practices may impact soil health and performance.

In the afternoon, we'll be joined (via video conference) by Dr.s Kristine Nichols and Andrew Smith from the Rodale Institute. They'll provide field crop and vegetable systems expertise and share their knowledge of soil health.

Cost is $50 for PEI COPC members and $60 for non-members and includes lunch.

Parking will be available free at the Holland College parking lot on Grafton Street (just across from the CAST)
